The LAW FIRM JAMES RICHARD AND PARTNERS, acting as legal counsel for Ms. “DA,” expresses its appreciation to the Deputy Director and investigators of Unit 2, Sub-Directorate 1, of the Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Bali Provincial Police for decisively upgrading our client’s case from the preliminary investigation stage to the formal investigation stage regarding the alleged criminal acts of fraud under Article 492 and Article 486 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) and Law No. 1 of 2023. We deeply appreciate the decisive action taken by the investigators, as it brings a breath of fresh air and a glimmer of hope to our client, the victim, regarding the losses she suffered due to an irresponsible contractor who caused significant financial harm to our client.
